Sommtable is looking for a digital-savvy Community Developer. You will be the first point of contact for online users, thus developing an intimate relationship with the online community, build brand awareness and key engagement. The Community Manager will be responsible for managing and aligning social media, PR and marketing content to create engagement. Ideal candidate will lead our efforts in attracting Wine & Spirits experts to our marketplace. Incentivize experts to complete a profile, get video interviewed, build free virtual or in-person experiences, and create free classes.
A degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing or related field may be required. Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. Knowledge of programs to manage online postings on different platforms. Proficient in Google Analytics. At least two years' experience managing social media platforms. Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques.
Develop a content plan. in-person networking will be needed (linkedin) Create engaging content for all platforms, including blog posts, social media posts (IG), and newsletters. (we provide Video edits, and photoshop artwork) Engage with online community and respond to comments and requests. Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics. Devise community communication initiatives. Attend virtual networking events. Liaise with external agencies or journalists to secure key interviews and business dev ideas.
