Esters is a member of the Rustic Canyon Family, and is a partnership between Josh Loeb & Zoe Nathan and Wine Director Kathryn Coker and her husband Tug. We’re a cozy, yet stylish, Santa Monica wine shop and bar where you can come for a glass of champagne and a meal, buy a special bottle for a friend, stock your wine cellar, or all of the above. Tucked inside a beautifully refurbished 1937 Art Deco building, our retail area features floor to ceiling racks of wine focused on smaller producers (whose stories we know and love), as well as a separate room for high-end finds to add to your private collection. We offer a full menu for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch that changes seasonally, that was first created by award-winning Chef Jeremy Fox (Rustic Canyon and Tallula’s), with Executive Chef Jessica Liu-He now carrying on that vision. Grab-n-Go options include some of our signature snacks like lavender almonds and smoked fish dip, charcuterie, cheese, and a handful of specialty products from friends and suppliers whose work inspires us. Join us at our bar or on our charming patio for a bite to eat and a great glass of wine, classic stirred cocktail, or artisanal beer. Or come by and shop for your next wine and cheese party. We look forward to having you!
