In 1994 Saint Etiennes facilities were acquired by the large Simon Distillery on Martinique. The still was demolished and production moved to Simon Distillery. Today Hatitation Saint-Etienne is led by technical director Sebastien Dormoy who has been very creative in the way it finishes its rhums.
