The Glencadam distillery (also known as GlencaRdam) opened in 1825, just one year after distilling on a large scale was legalised. Our elegant and sophisticated Single Malt whisky is still produced in the same fashion as it was in 1825. The entire Glencadam range is non-chill filtered and free from added colouring. This retains the Whisky's natural characteristics, ensuring aromatic components are preserved to enhance presence and flavour. Glencadam distillery is located about half a mile outside the ancient city of Brechin, in the eastern Highlands of Scotland. We rely on the purest spring water from the Unthank Hills to create our delicate yet refined spirit. Glencadam distillery has been running 24x7 since 2005.
